Sandra's Mex. Rest. is a great place to take loved one's and enjoy a great selection of Mexican food & more. I ordered a beef soup (top of the line) & my wife ordered some crispy tacos. We also shared a crispy tripa taco & two luenga tacos to go. Uum!

Gloria’s staff is amazingly hospitable. I am very confident that you will love their food as well. Tacos are very filling and their coffee is one of the best! I am LOVING her teacher appreciation coffe and taco for free, Mon..-Thurs. Thank you for appreciating me and all educators in San Antonio. Truly an amazing establishment!!!!

Clean, wonderful food and good prices. Had a horrible waitress, couldn't find her 10/2 of the time. However the hostess helped us and 2 other wait staff stopped by regularly to see if we were good.

This place is very busy on the weekends. Fresh warm homemade tortillas and pretty good size , I have eaten breakfast here and it’s pretty good this place is very clean and the waitresses are pleasant. The owner does come by your table to make sure everything ok with your food and if it’s up to your expectations. You don’t get too many people that do that anymore. I would recommend this place but also a friendly family environment, you can have your meal with your family even if it’s a gathering or special occasion.

Little bit of a wait but that was expected on a Sunday afternoon. Staff is great, friendly and cordial. Love the seating and ambiance. The food is amazing. Tacos are huge and tasty! The only thing I would say is I’m not to fond of the coffee. Not a deal breaker by any means but I love it when restaurants invest into a special tasty coffee. I’ve found places that add cinnamon or offer a chicory version. Like I said: not a deal breaker. Just hoping the owner reads this lol!

Absolutely horrible! The food was awful and the staff were painfully incompetent. I would have been better off going to Taco Bell.

Lost our ticket, wife asked for over easy eggs, she got eggs cooked all the way through till hard. Waitress said they lost the ticket so they gave her the eggs that had been sitting there. Apparently rushed the pork chops as well because they came out still raw as well. Most the food was cold when it came out as well. The waitress would come out once every 15 mins and then not bring what you asked for the previous time she stopped. I will definitely not be returning to this location again.

Always clean & inviting. Staff is friendly, helpful & attentive. Food is good. Salsa & chips are yummy. This may sound weird, but the bathrooms are super nice. Like something in a fancy hotel.

Very clean restaurant and friendly waitress. The food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious! I would recommend this Mexican restaurant to family and friends.

I score a 1 because the Cashier got upset w/ me because I placed 4x orders via drive thru...something simple such a 2x bacon egg/ 1x bc/etc. She told me next time to go inside . Then to top it off my order was incorrect. If you cant multi-task then reach out to your manager for more training.

Great breakfast place...family style eatery...delicious plates to choose from lunch/ dinner menu too is available..serving sizes are big...

The food here is good and plentiful. The service was also friendly and helpful. The environment is clean and homie. My family and I enjoyed our experience with this restaurant and we will most definitely be coming back.

Hands Down BEST BREAKFAST Tacos in Town! They are big and tasty! Being in the service industry and around town all the time, I’ve tried a lot. And luckily Sandras is right down the street from my house. I love their breakfast tacos! Spicy Delicious Verdes too! Yummy!!

One of the better restaurants in town imo. Food is always good, drinks are almost always strong, amd service is awesome!

We came here for the first time to check it out and I'm really not sure what the bad reviews are for as we will definitely come back. The service was good and the food was great, the outside and inside are really nice and clean. The staff super friendly and they were a great team. If you like traditional Mexican "comfort foos", give this place a try. If at any point I have a reason to update this review, I will.

Was craving some green chicken enchiladas and wanted to support a small business, especially since taco cabana doesn’t have that. I called to confirm they were still open, the guy on the phone was very polite and helpful. Food was hot and quick and totally satisfied my craving.

Waited like 20 minutes at the drive-thru .Had a big order I didn't get a single hot sauce

I was there for a meeting. The space was nice, and well appointed, but a bit noisy.I'm used to a much hotter Mexican cuisine, so that was disappointing, but tasty otherwise. The server was pleasant, but seemed a bit rushed and distracted.

Always great service with friendly wait staff. The isn't usually a wait for a table and the food comes out hot and fresh. The Payo and Carlos special are what we ordered this last time and there was a generous amount of food!!

I'm only speaking for takeout. But every time I get home, every time, I'm missing a taco! It's starting to feel like they are doing this on purpose. Last time it was a beef fajita taco, that stings a lot more than when it's a bean and cheese 😬. But the tacos are very good, and worth the gamble to me.

I have tried for the second time in while to give them a chance. The Fajita Flameada was so greasy. Almost like they tried to mask all the fat the fajitas had, with the cheese and onions. Awful, didn't finish the plate.The salsa ranchera is not salsa ranchera. It is overcooked, fatty with parts of beef??? Sever did ask if I wanted anything else, but by that time too late. Had to ask her twice to bring me some ice. Sorry Sandra's, you had a shot.

The drive thru is horrible. The wait is over 30 minutes long during peak time. The person taking your order is rude and short when you try to clarify your order. Many times you have to keep repeating yourself. They always try to give you one hot sauce for 4 tacos. I always get an eye roll, slammed window or attitude when you ask for more. The place is beautiful inside. I imagine they could make so much more money but the attitudes suck. A smile wouldn’t kill you! !

If you are not in a rush,it is a good place to eat. The food took a while and the service was slow but the food was good with great portions at a good price.

I ordered a chicken fajita salad which was very tasty. The meat was hot and the veggies fresh. My only complaint was that the salad did not come w avacado so I asked for it and it didn't have much in it and cost 3 bucks which I thought was pretty rediculous.

I have only been here for breakfast so the review is only for that time frame, 730-930 am. Three stars due to inconsistency of the breakfast tacos. Sometimes they are spot on and great, other times they are severely overcooked. The tortillas are usually wonderful, however. They are large tacos though and so a good value, if you don't mind the issues.The service is decent but again, not consistent. Sometimes the waitresses are checking on us regularly, other times we won't see one for 20 minutes. To be fair, I can't remember the names of the waitresses for either side and so must give just an overview of the situation. On days they are on point, I would give them 5 stars. On the other days 2 so I split it at 3.

We had a wonderful lunch today at Sandra's. I enjoy the food here very much but I have them a 4 because sometimes there service is extremely slow and the waitresses hardly ever check on you. Today's service was much better, the best we've had.We had the Brianna special which is a cheese enchilada, fajita meat, rice and beans. We also got the puffy taco plate that was the special for the day. We did have a problem with that plate because my husband asked for chicken but got beef, we were in a hurry so he ate it instead of sending it back. He enjoyed it but would've liked the chicken.

We had the cheese enchiladas, not quite what I expected. Even if it was the special of the day... They weren't very good, no gravy on top, especially for the price. The price would have been better if they were chicken enchiladas. Tortillas were good. A tiny amount of guacamole on the lettuce and tomatoes in the corn tortilla cup! If I go back I will not order the cheese enchiladas.

Good food and even better customer services. Me and my buddies come here everyday for the past 20 years<3 Nataly is the best server ever!!!

This place was good. But the last couple of times we’ve been the food has not been the same good quality as it use to be.

Great atmosphere! The staff was very nice food was beyond perfect ! Definatly gonna make Sandra's a regular visit.

Food is awesome and staff are very polite. Every once in a while the owner will walk around and talk to the customers. She is very thankful and very nice.

Excellent chips and salsa. The tortilla soup is good but would prefer it without potatoes.

Great food prices and drinks

It is an authentic Mexican restaurant in San Antonio Texas that my family and I were driving by and decided to stop in. So glad we did. The food was awesome. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Texas!

Greetings, visited place for the first time and I wasn't impressed, not my choice but dear friends of the family, I must say that the food was just plain and blend, no flavor at all, refried beans no flavor nor the rice, just red in color, thick flour tortillas like in most restaurants, I know about authentic Mexican food, being raised near a border town, anyways not to offend anyone, maybe some people that have never eaten authentic Mexican food would say it's the best they've eaten.

The breakfast tacos here are really good. We got Country Sausage and Egg, Bacon and Egg, and Bacon and Bean, each with cheese added. They were all really good and to my surprise, the Bacon and Beans was my favorite. Also, these tacos are filled to the brim. It's almost like 1.5-2x the size of most breakfast tacos (e.g. Taco Cabana).

Amazing food. Went with Iglesia LaGloria de Dios.

Sandras food is the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to,they service is outstanding just like their food
